5 Generations & 2 was founded from a rare and extraordinary family legacy. At one point in time, there were five strong Black women in my family alive together, including my great-great-grandmother, who I had the rare honor of meeting in person. This living lineage represents resilience, wisdom, and the power of generational connection.

The “2” in our name honors two special young men in my life, my son and my brother, representing the next generation we are committed to uplifting, protecting, and preparing for a brighter future. Together, “5 Generations & 2” is both a tribute to my family’s strength and a promise to extend that same strength, care, and opportunity to others in our community.
